IH-802 Hickory Logger
-
I took a walk outside and I have to admit that I feel vey comfortable with these loggers.
They will wait till october-november and we'll see.
Here we have 82°F, you know… -
They are a little coarse, and coarse + warm = hell!!

Reading the previous posts, I see that I have the same doubts that Lando had.
Are they too big?
How to wear loggers?
To sag or not to sag?
To hem or not to hem?
Maybe cuf…I never had great faith in the healing power of soaking, but I soaked them, so we will see...
At the same time my rotation is growing:666Sod = still my favorite
634S= I love them, my favorite indigo jeans
634SR= Material for next fall
PBJ xx007 deep indigo= my lightweight blue jeans for incoming summer
Busters sbg= New entry and very promising, I'm wearing them right now
301S= now in the backseat, poor things...
802= Oh, well they are not jeans... -
imho
your 802's seem to fit fine. They are not jawns, and they are supposed to be/look roomier like workpants do.
Wear them with sneakers or heavier type workboots.
Don't sag (this is a big IMO)
Hem, like I said, so that they drape nicely over your shoe in the front and show about whole heel of the workboot. (this works also with bootcut jawns) The fabric of these doesn't form nice sturdy cuff. Also the width of the hem is such that it cuff doen't look good IMO, the cuff will be too "floppy".Or do whatever you feel good to. They're yours.

this is how I had them hemmed. I first tried about 2-2,5" longer with cuff, but didn't like how they were
edit. now that I look at them on me, due to my a bit sturdier thighs, they look a lot like bootcut jawns…

Yeah, you are right, injunjack. Mine are absolutely to hem. I will do it, and I'll post new fit pics.
-
News: wife loves them as they are.
Case closed.[Image Missing]

She likes cuf too, gives them a "jawnzesque" tone, she says…

If anyone is looking for a pair of W33's, PM me. http://www.ironheart.co.uk/forum/index.php?topic=1773.0

I think we need to wait for someone who has 1st hand experienve chip in here. But my rec would be to oversize a tad with loggers anyway…..
I agree with Giles, I have the hickory stripe size 34 and I wish I would of sized up. they are a little tight when working, bending, squatting and they do not stretch like the 21oz denim. When G gets the 35 inseam version I will be getting a 36.
