@Brian oof that's gonna be a long flight mate.
uk passports aren't part of the EU lines any more, so wouldn't make a difference at customs. I'd reckon just stick with the Australian passports, waiting times have dropped quite a bit from last year.

Been a while since I’ve been on a plane though I will admit -
@Brian yeah fair. I used to make that trek being in Perth for 10 years. although now, I'm in Singapore it's shorter but nothing quite like short flights in Europe. Perth's isolated but Adelaide just seems a tricky place to fly out from.

Will be on The Queen Elizabeth in the middle of the Atlantic on those dates sailing to Barcelona. And then onto Madrid. Will catch up on the party at that point. Will also have a bunch of drinks on the ship during that time period.

It’s a Melbourne or Sydney flight to somewhere and then another flight
Adelaide needs to get more international routes but population doesn’t warrant it
I spent 2 years in Perth ( well baldivis ) so know how it’s isolated from the rest of the country was super quick to get over to Indonesia though -

@Brian as @louisbosco said, it doesn't make a lot of difference between having a UK and Australian passport when travelling to Europe. I flew into the UK on mine last time, despite being a British citizen, because I'd travelled via the US, and I didn't want it to appear as though I'd disappeared somewhere between SF and London.
You will need an Australian passport to leave Australia if you're a citizen. If you're not, you'll need a year or two for that to come through, and you might want to apply for one of the new blue British passports...
I'm going to be in Orkney and Shetland during the first half of August. I'm trying to decide if I'll stick around until September. It really depends on what I'm doing.
