Also got this Speedgoat from Montana Knife Company recently, thing is so light and sharp! Been carrying it on the inside pocket of my 526-PJ

I’ve had Chris Reece, Hinderer and Strider in my pocket over the last decade. But I always came back to my first “real” edc knife. The original Spyderco Manix, pictured here along with the Native Chief.

@Matt I have the same knife. Probably from 96 as well, when I was in scouts. I still have it!

I do a bit of leatherwork. I found it awkward to carry a leatherman everyday due to thickness. I did up this pancake Leatherman holster in 9oz (I think) veg tanned leather, hand saddle stitched with Kevlar thread. Treaded with beeswax and Obanaufs.

Any recommendations for a killer pair of pruning shears? I figure the Japanese must be making some nice ones. I wasn't impressed with the results of my quick Google search.

@68degreesorless, thisoldtony on YouTube just did a video on a few types of pruning shears that was surprisingly good. Not his usual content. Might be helpful.

I realized he has another video about pruning saws and the one with shears has an nondescript title that's not obvious to find. Thought it might help to paste it here.

If it's not cool, mods please remove and note that the video title is "milwaukee" and posted a month ago.

bought the benchmade super freek brand new used off a guy on a knife forum pre covid
it sat at my us shipping address for almost 2 years.
when i bought it applied weapon technologies had told me they planned to make scales for the freeks and super freeks, but they kept putting it off
now finally today the scales came in the mail

i caught the crk bug a few years back
really want to add an umnumzaan to my collection
sebenza 31, sebenza 25 with micarta inlays and inkosi with insingo blade. all large.
really love the simplicity of the inkosi, wish it had the drop point and the 31 had the insingo thumbnail_imjage0.jpg

Right on Brother. Umnumzaan is another level and my plain Jane Zaan is an EDC for me. Crazy wait times on these if you are ordering one... 6 years! Watch for used ones hitting the market. They can be found. I've ordered a second Zaan that may show up in ~ 2 years? Great knife!
