@Nik if you don’t mind had some time with the watch. Could you let me know about battery life (GPS use and daily wear, given you wear it 24/7) and screen visibility in sunlight?

Screen visibility is fantastic. I think the old OLED issues have been fixed. Battery life so far is as expected, with 23 days estimated. But I'll let you know in a week how it goes. I've currently got the display as always on.

G-Shock. It’s what The Boss wears. Unbreakable and tons of options in your price range.

Those are all excellent options. They are extremely addictive though thanks to their surprising quality compared to the price point. I have #2 in the silver version and it’s my favorite. Honestly I’d be surprised if you didn’t end up with all of those.

The GA-1000 is a wonderful G-shock too. perfectly size case and so comfortable.
