I went with my UHF size (XL) for the N1. Allows me to put multiple layers under it for our cold days. I could size down to a Large if I was just wearing it over a T-shirt or single layer.

I have that Jacket in XXL. That's my usual UHF size, and I can wear a UHF in that size underneath with no problem. There's a couple of photos of me in the WAWT thread. I can even fit a 14oz hoodie under there and fully zip it up.

I do have XXXL UHF, but I usually wear them with the 11oz underneath, which I have in XXL.

For reference: 193cm/6ft3, 95kg/209lbs. Wide shoulders, fairly sporty.
Going by seeing you in your new Ship John jacket from the auction, which would have run a tad large on me, too - I'd say you should go XXL.

My N1 came in the mail today. I love this amazing jacket. I will follow up with photos sometime soon. Exhausted from the work day and laying on the couch wearing it. Might be nap time.

@tody thanks man, I went with my smaller UHF size, XXL. I can wear XXXL UHFs too as over shirts, but most my more fitted UHFs are all XXL. It's so comfortable!

@Nik it is pure comfort, fits me the way I like it and super warm but not sweaty. I wore it during the hour drive into work this morning and was livin' the life.

@uhr_xhs I'm 5'8'', 145lbs, 36'' chest, 16.5'' shoulders. I got my N1 in a small. It's fits just right with a collared shirt, but tight with a hoodie or bulky sweater. Arm length is good. I would say a medium probably would fit you better but as mentioned, prob measure it using the charts against one of your well fitting jacket.
