      It's a Haraki invention, not based on the 634 nor the 888 - he's new relaxed fit (only seen here and in the recent chinos)

        Thanks for chiming in @Alex - that makes much more sense now.
        Compared to the 731 Chino the measurements are right there, within half an inch.
        Only the hem is considerably wider.

                @tody If I remember correctly, you have one of these in black, right? Have you washed them already? Did you notice any changes in the fit/measurement?

                  @cityofdelusion I have them in black, and the green incoming thanks to the sale. IIRC, the black ones have not been washed yet. I'll give them a spin this weekend, just because, and will let you know. They relaxed a little in the waist, and from my experience with this fabric on my Carhartt cargos, they shouldn't move anywhere.

                    @tody Thank you! That sounds perfect! I just got mine delivered and I really like them a lot - both the fit and the fabric. I was wondering if the waist would relax, that'd make it perfect. And if the rest remains the same, I'd be absolutely satisfied.

                    Just like you commented in the sale thread a few days ago, it's hard to believe these seem not to get the love they deserve. I wanted a pair of cargos for the longest while now and these are really damn good.

                      @cityofdelusion So here are the results of the totally not scientific shrink test. 40°C wash, 1400rpm spin cycle. Waist went from 47cm to 47cm, Inseam from 88cm to 88cm.

                        @tody Thanks for the confirmation.

                        I've been wearing these ever since receiving them. They're super comfortable, functional and well-made for how "lightweight" they are. Definitely a must-have. When I have more time, I'd like to update this thread as frequently as I can. Really considering if I should get the black ones as well but for now, I'll enjoy these 💚

                          Lightweight, sturdy, big pockets. Awesome. Glad I changed the black W34 which ran to small for me for an olive W35 which fits perfectly and is much more comfy in the sun.

                              Wore the cargoes last weekend on a punk rock festival. Got heavily rained on, but they took it pretty well.

                                I still love mine and wear them frequently. Only thing I wish these had, is snap buttons instead of normal buttons for the flap pockets. Especially the pockets in the back (but also the ones in the front) are almost impossible to shut while wearing and take a lot of time in the best case scenario. Snap buttons (such as on the IHDR-502-OLV) would've made these the perfect cargo pants.

                                  @tody Im also impressed how sturdy this fabric is despite its lightweight nature. And what better proof could there be than a punk rock festival 😃

                                  @cityofdelusion I figured out opening and closing the buttons while wearing with one hand just with thumb, index and middle finger. I agree that snap buttons would be awesome but on the other hand real buttons are more thief proof and can’t open themselves in the mountains haha 😃

                                        My only non-denim pants from IH. I use a hair band at the cuffs. That way you can adjust the length perfectly to the boots. They they are perfect for outdoor activities or hiking I think, plus I like the harem pants style ;-).
