A side by side comparison of the 21 oz vs the 14 oz or the XHS, I see a lot of white regions on the 21 oz and I guess it is the result of the looser weave that people here talk about. Correct? I have yet another question. The waist is just about comfortable for now and I guess it will stretch when exposed to stress, but I assume that it will shrink back to its original size after a wash or a soak. Do you guys normally size down from your actual measurements with the 21 oz? Just curious to know!

In my opinion the 21oz does stretch, but the tighter the are the more they will stretch imho. I wear them without a belt to the point they feel relaxed and after that with the belt to stop the stretching a bit. They will shrink a little when you wash them and stretch back and so the story continues. In the end just enjoy and wear them hard

Its pretty basic info but its the truth -
I just have another stupid question. Why is there a difference in the length of the denim? For example., my 634S 14 oz has 36 as its tag length while this one has 34? At 182 cm, I'm feel that the length on this could have been 36.

What do you mean? Do we have length 36 on this? I was told 34 length is the standard on this one!

@the246guy all the IH denim comes in lenght 36 in EU/UK/USA only the UHR has 37. Asian marktet comes in 34 overall all the other retailers handle 36 lenght.

@the246guy they are stated as 88,9cm so 35” same as on the IHUK website. Nothing strange it seems

Confusing. The tag print on the patch says 31 34, but I would have expected 31 36 if it was the EU version like you mention! I can feel the difference in the lengh. Not that of a concern for now, though not sure how it might turn out after a wash or a soak.

May be I will. Not every other Iron Heart retailer is like IH UK in answering specific questions. Does anyone here have their 634 labelled as length 36 on their patch? Would be curious to know!

@the246guy the photo on the 634 on the ihuk site also shows us 34. So nothing to worry about

Have you actually measured them, or just assume they measure 34 because that is what the tag says?
There is no Asian iteration. All are the same. And tag says the length is 34 even if they measure a little longer, so no one will have a tag that says Length = 36 (for IH-634S).
You will notice zero difference in size after a wash or soak. We have done it for you.

@Giles, thanks for clarifying. The doubt came to my mind when I saw the tag sizes between my 21 oz and the 14 or in this 634 cut where the 14 oz says 36 while the 21 oz says 34.

I am on wear 15. Slowly getting them to relax. Waist seems good, hips are a little rough when sitting, but gonna keep toughing it out and see what happens with more wear and an eventual soak.
After having the extra room in the 35tag Wabash painters, it’s hard to come back into the week with the 634s in 34 tag haha -
Received my first Iron Heart pair of denim jeans. I opted for the classic and I am very impressed. Pure quality. I like the fit very much.
I am 185 cm, 82 kg and I went for tag size 33.

Thanks @prpx , I was surprised a bit that they fit perfectly. I wasn’t sure with the straight fit having in mind some reviews that the 634s are baggy etc. But I am super happy now and can‘t wait to wear them tomorrow during the day
