I have several singles and LP’s of DMR.
When I was for the first time in England in 82, brought back a lot of punk and soul vinyl, because I spend more time in London than in Brighton, I was supposed to be .

‘Searching for the young soul rebels’ became a long time friend, because of its Stax recommendation marked in blue.

Tracked down some of these Stax singles over the years and love them.

@Aetas Thanks for the flashback!! I remember being a kid and hearing that for the first time. At that time, there was nothing like it...

I didn't know that they had re released that album though. The original came out in 1982.

Yesterday this was 40 years old!!!! Blue Monday is still the best 12" ever IMO. It made a loss when released - the cover with it's diecut and having an inlay cost more to produce then they made on selling the record, hence future releases went to a normal cover and no inlay.
