The songs on this album aren't particularly sensual, I feel it was just a chance to get a semi naked woman on the cover, which seems quite common for disco/funk albums of the 70s!!!

@Steve @GraemeE Here are a few covers that I think are cool. And I do miss the art and effort that went into an album’s design.

I'm going to have to listen to that Prince based on the artwork alone and am huge fan of the Talking heads - this will be a good theme for my listening today (choosing albums with visually pleasing artwork )
Based on this my morning will continue with these:

                    Scott Walker - 3
                    Nick Drake -Pink Moon
                    Soft Machine - Self Titled

Big fan of Ayers and Wyatt solo albums as well, even though it's a departure from the vibe of their earlier stuff with SM

Tonight I was in the mood for the Dexy’s.

                            Story behind…
I have several singles and LP’s of DMR.
When I was for the first time in England in 82, brought back a lot of punk and soul vinyl, because I spend more time in London than in Brighton, I was supposed to be 😄.

‘Searching for the young soul rebels’ became a long time friend, because of its Stax recommendation marked in blue.

Tracked down some of these Stax singles over the years and love them.

@Aetas Thanks for the flashback!! I remember being a kid and hearing that for the first time. At that time, there was nothing like it...

I didn't know that they had re released that album though. The original came out in 1982.

@steelydan I've seen a handful of east wind stuff over the years but never owned any.

Their pressings are supposedly pretty high end?
