IHDR-502-OLV - 11oz Cotton Whipcord Cargo Pants - Olive
-
@Black Orchid Wanted a pair upon first seeing them & your review of these pants makes me want them even more now
Unfortunately, (fortunate for my piggy bank) waist measurements don’t come down enough for me to pull the trigger
Wear ‘em low with a bloody big belt. You’ll kill it.
-
Are you wearing the devils cut today, bc there’s this mighty strong voice of temptation that’s tipping me over the edge! the only thing stopping me at this point, wearing them like low riders, is that the cargo pockets would probably be down by my ankles
-
@RoxRocks86 That's bitter sweet
However as you say your piggy bank will thank you and I personally would love an itty bitty waist x
-
Hopefully with the traction this seems to be getting they’ll do another re-run with hopefully smaller sizes. Since it seems 888s usually go down in waist due to the high rise, one could only hope.
& one last thing, “Get behind me, Reuben!”

The IHDR-502's are amazing . . . . .

^ Great image @neph93 albeit a tad scary
-
Lmfao. That is terrifying. Do your kids ever cry when you check in on them at night @neph93 ?
-
They finally arrived! These are almost exactly what I’ve been wishing for all these years. I still would love a slightly lower front rise, but overall they are definitely winners.
I did just go for a walk in them during the heat of an 80 degree F day, and the whipcord isn’t for the faint of heart in the heat. I am too sweaty for proper fit pics right now, but I made the right call on sizing. 36 would not have fit!

I hear you on the sizing @sabergirl ! I've chosen to size up myself so the 34s are heading to the Marketplace section…
[Another] lesson learned…
-
Congrats @sabergirl ! Not breathable at the slightest? They do look awesome tho hopefully it cools down soon enough so you can wear them without feeling like your legs are on fire
-
For what it’s worth, these do really
Well in the rain and dry really fast.Monsoon hit day 1 of me wearing these on a target run with the kiddos

Well, they’ve arrived.
I told my other half that the only way I would keep them is if they were really special and fit exactly as I wanted.
To be completely honest, I imagined I’d be sending them back and because I’m a man I had already mentally spent the money I shouldn’t have spent on the trousers I shouldn’t have bought. They’re amazing. They are ridiculously well made (no surprise there), go with every boot I’ll wear them with and are waaaay comfier than I expected. I can even get away with a turn-up, which usually look weird on me for whatever reason.
Bravo.
Thanks for the extra stickers.

This post is worthless without pictures.

It was a good decision to size up. I would have never gotten into a size 34.
The fit is a little relaxed, like it should be with a cargo pants. It feels very robust and a little to warm for the current 20 degrees Celsius.
Just need to get them hemmed now.
Excuse the face. [emoji2957]

Agreed @Cole those look great. I really like how the pockets sit flat and show a slim thigh from both the front and back.

Everyone looks brilliant in these but the comments have me a little nervous. A waist over 36" would surely be too big for me, while a thigh of 13.2" should be fine, hence I ordered the w34. That should be a TTS choice for me and the w36 would represent a solid size up. We'll see….
