I'm smitten by this one, hope sizing will work out to my favour. Would like use it as a hoody for spring/autumn walks.
If by chance you have the sample nearby, would it be possible to get a closer look at the sleeve/cuff opening? Will it be held shut with an elastic band (lack of a better word, sorry).
Is the material comparable to the IHJ-38?

@BULLITT BEE elasticated yes, this one gives a better view. Not the same as the storm cuffs on the IHJ-38

Might have preferred storm cuffs, but if this hoody is lighter than the IHJ-38, I think it'll work. Any which way, I'm looking forward to this one!

Yes, it would in principal. I suppose it would depend on the length of this piece compared to the length of the 526PJ your body shape needed as to if it would show. Will grap a photo of me later on today or tomorrow

I imagine it packs up quite small and would be the perfect transition piece to use with or without a type 2 or 3.

This is perhaps an odd question, but this is something I would wear for winter hiking/mountaineering. I am wondering if it would be possible to get a weight in grams of a size small in either color (imagine they’ll be pretty close to each other). Just curious how this might stack up to gear I have, though it does fill in a spot I don’t have yet.

Really hoping the measurements work on this jacket. I had to sell my IHJ 08 because it was too small but this looks like a worthy replacement.

Wow, didn't know about the IHJ-08, it was before I got to know Iron Heart. That looks to be a sick jacket, can see the potential that the IHJ-91 could replace it.

Ask Sabergirl for some flicks. They were made in a Japanese military garment factory so they looked kinda like Patagucci but felt like a tank.

Just had a look through the IHJ-08 thread, think I prefer the pockets and sleeve cuffs of the IHJ-08, but then again I have too many black jackets. Also nice to change up designs a bit (I have the IHJ-38 which in some ways is similar to the 08).
I really looking forward for the IHJ-91 now! I just hope the sleeve length isn't made for gorillas
