The neighbors took up 3 campsites and kept walking through mine, like blatantly and repeatedly, not by mistake.  And their kids were really annoying.  More than mine, which is bad.

Day 2 of trying to dry this laundry.  No easy task when the humidity is 90%.

I almost bought a small folding table to go between the camp chairs.  My wife was shocked when I found an alternative solution that didn’t require my needlessly money…

Shocked? I hope in total amazement at your brilliance and creativity…..

Wives lack vision.  Of course if she were more clever she’d never have married me.

Delaware playgrounds are still closed which bites since they have a cool one here that’s in view of our site and could have occupied the girls indefinitely.  Good thing we brought our own…

Wrapping up our stay in Delaware.  Travel day tomorrow. Trap Pond St Pk gets my seal of approval but the weather made it tough to truly appreciate.  Cooler temps forecast for the next few 2 spots.  Fingers crossed.  Hopefully we’ll avoid the hurricane.

Also, that’s our garden gnome from home.  We’ve had him since 2007.  Now he gets to step out of the garden and see the country..

Arrived at the new spot in Pennsylvania on Monday afternoon.  About 2 hours before Isaias met us here.  We are now on an impromptu boondocking trip as the power went out on Tues morning almost immediately after the rain let up and seems unlikely to be restored whilst we’re here.  Yet another learning experience but we persevere.

Here’s a trail turned water flume following the storm and the biggest swimming pool I’ve ever seen…

We’re here for a few more days.  We have some homeschooling to get done at some of the national historical sites in the area though so I don’t think there’s time for joining up.  I’ll let you now if we get into anything meet up worthy.

Hopewell Furnace Nat Historic site was closed due to the never ending power outage.  So was the nearby town of St Peters Village, the company town that housed its workers.  We did manage to check out a farm called Ryerss’ that adopts old horses.  That was pretty awesome.  I’ll get some pics up in a bit.
