I'm feeling a bit better about my current situation.  I've been laying low in my office/lab 100 miles offshore for the last 19 days.  After much uncertainty, I received confirmation this morning that I'll be able to start my trek home Monday morning.  I've been given a "hall pass" of sorts to make the 500 mile drive from Louisiana back to Austin so things are at least looking up.

Actually this was yesterday. Still many people outside, but with two kids at home in a 80 m² apartment ,since two weeks, you have to get out at least once a day to prevent a catastrophe.
