IHSH-248-IND - 5oz Selvedge Cotton Linen Chambray Western Shirt – Indigo
-
What’s the feel of this compared to the 13?
I realize it’s half the weight and a spring/summer shirt, but is the feel noticeably lighter?
I have some 5oz chambray’s from about 4 years ago (IHSH-118 and 119), but they were woven on a very specific loom by a husband and wife team on the ground floor of their house, if I remember correctly. The point being I suspect the hand may be different to these. So I can’t really help.
(Most pointless post of 2020 so far [emoji23]).

@Dstauffer They are a lightweight version of the pearl snap

Does this shirt have red selvedge running up the inside? The photos don’t seem to show the selvedge detailing.

If memory serves, the selvedge ID on IH westerns is visible on cuffs and side gussets.

Thanks Giles. The selvedge on the placket is what I was (badly) referring to. Shame it’s not got the usual red and white colouring, but good to know it’s selvedge none the less.

To the lucky owners of this shirt: How does it come out of a wash? Because of the linen mix I have doubts if the shirt has heavy creases after a wash - even when I keep the spin low on the cycle. I am not a big fan of ironing my shirts ::)
Any information?
Many thanks!

@Giles Do you by chance have an idea? ::) Thanks so much
