Sweet! Yeah it’s a great learning experience. I’m pretty much self taught. It can be hard and frustrating but nearly always ends up being very satisfying. Good luck with the stairs, they can be tough to get right.

For me, the old adage, "measure twice, cut once" is modified to, "measure four times, recheck the plans, cut, swear extensively, buy more wood, repeat as necessary".

Your project looks much more well done than that.

Im the same I think.
Just wet my beak , as far as the Fedora world goes, by getting the Stratoliner not long ago.
Love wearing that hat…but you definitely need the balls to pull it off.
Not many can rock that look well. But when its right...its not a bad look.

I took the right decision and pulled this indigo mo fo out of the wardrobe, makes me smile every time I do. Glad I swayed for the Large though, some air movement today has been welcomed.
