The buns were pretty great I have to say…
Yes the difference is quite dramatic. Still a lovely place to be and it gets very cosy inside. Wonderful to be able to come into the warmth after being out in the snow and look out over the lake. I was having lots of fond flashbacks to our time up there in the summer.

Whenever you're in the area @Chap then give me a couple of hours notice and I will oblige you. We have some good coffee making facilities around here too (and some great raw material for making sashimi).

Which reminds me of a Norwegian joke:
A guy from rich, comfortable Oslo moves to the frozen, wild north of Norway, with his wife and two kids. The first day there he meets his new northern neighbour, a big, rough looking, bearded guy.
After the introductions the northerner says, «You should come to my cabin this weekend for a proper northern party». The southerner, eager to please his new friend agrees and wonders what sort of activities the weekend will include.
The northener replies, «Drinking, fighting and fucking, of course»! The southerner, a little taken aback, but a little excited, asks, «Uhhh, who will be there»?
To which the northerner replies, «Just us two»
