Arrived today. Fit seems perfect. All my worry about shoulder measurements was for naught. At this point, I think it may be my favorite article of clothing. Michigan winter needs to END so I can wear it every day. I'm grateful to this forum for helping me spend money.

My first piece from Iron Heart and I'm absolutely loving it. Couldn't exaggerate how nice this jacket is. Was pleasantly surprised how comfortable this jacket is, was expected a "crunchier" jacket with the selvedge/overdye combo but nope… feels like something I've worn forever

*If anyones curious of sizing, I'm typically a large (6'1, 185lb) and went with an XL here

That’s the overdying. The 14oz base is pretty crunchy but the overdyeing process works miracles with/kicks the shit out of the fabric and you end up with a rad jacket that feels unique pit of the bag. Congratulations.

Been lusting after a Type III OD since the beginning of time. Finally just bit the bullet and got one knowing it would be on the big side. I’m so impressed by this jacket! Don’t care that it’s too long, actually think it works as long as I wear slim denim. Love how it’s so soft and light, color so deep and rich, and doesn’t even need to be broken in.

Some quick fit pics of this oversized & overdyed goodness -

Big thanks to @Graham and the crew for helping with the order. should be plural, eh?  🙂

                            This thread needs more love.

I’ve been agonising over which Type 3 to get and this one has been high on my list of options. Kind of regret not getting it in the sale.

You mentioned it being lightweight - not too flimsy though? Or is it very much a summer jacket?

Only tried it on for a bit this evening (maybe others who have more experience with the jacket can chime in) but as far as I can tell regarding flimsiness, it holds its own. Keeps it shape, but also moves easily. A bit more substantial than a lightweight denim shirt. Been wearing the 21oz vest as of late and that just feels like cardboard this is a nice change where you don’t need to beat it into submission  😃

Before I knew about IH, when anybody said "OD" it was always regarded as a negative thing.

Now when I hear anything having to do with "OD" it just brings a smile to my face.

Crushing it with that jacket @RoxRocks86  😎
