I felt the same way ( regarding ihj-35) and couln't withstand.
This jacket is expensive, but you will love it.

Apart from the cost (which at the moment is prohibitive), I'm unsure about the style. It looks fantastic, but I'm not sure how I'd look in it. I'd also have to think carefully because there is no such thing as an "all-year jacket" round my way. I'm not sure how much wear it would get.

That with your climate zone can not be denied. But I saw you in a nice winterly  landscape with a Aero Leather Jacket.  Order one, try it on, post your pics, I will advise you…

Feels weird to be back in MBB's after all this time. I'd had forgotten how soft the 25oz is once broken in.
Going to wear these and the lefty for the next few months at work and see what fades I can get.

The Aero halfbelt is a more conservative style, so safer for a 46 year old I think. It is also made of thick steerhide and lined with meltin wool so with a UHF and woolen underwear, it does a job in -7C. But I will be trying the IH leathers when I’m over in December, for sure
