IHV-31-KHA - Khaki Alpaca Lined Whipcord Modified N1 Deck Vest

This is a modern interpretation of the traditional N1 type deck vest which we have been making for several years.  We have swapped the patch handwarmer pockets for tailored slash pockets and added side entry, zippered chest pockets that are still fully functional when seated in a car.  Lined with Alpaca, it is windproof and extremely warm, ideal for layering.

This vest looks great, really. And a BIG kudos on the purpose driven changes

The IHV-22 was already an amazing piece as designed, but for me this one addresses a few things that I have "disliked" about mine.

Functional:
The addition of the chest pockets.
-I wear vests TYPICALLY for upper body storage space, since I don't like using my shirt pockets

Form:
Removal of the button flap over the zipper
-I rarely zip/button my IHV-22, and when left open, that flap always irks me, because it makes the garment look uneven/off-center.

@Giles @Alex  Any thoughts of a "modified N-1 deck jacket"?
