    @neph93:

    ^ but did one of them go to you?

    No sire. Would have loved to get a jacket in this fabric but realistically, there are a couple of more pressing "needs" ::): IHSH-178 and a white western, plus the overdyed lefty T3 is something I have wanted for a long time now (notice how I didn't pretend to be "needing" this one).

      @Crit_Obs prioritising is important (and at times difficult). I meant to respond to your query about white westerns actually. I’ll try and get on to it this evening.

        Like I needed an excuse to pick this jacket up, its been on my wants list since I laid eyes on it. But as it turns out, its my birthday next week so this jacket is a present to myself. Went with an XL after seeing those post wash measurements line up fairly close to those of the type iii.

          Damn this has sold pretty fast - were not a lot made or was it very popular? Either way, good to see a Type II doing well!

            I don't know how many were made in total, but we did not take many due to the historical ambivalence our Type II's have received…

              That's a shame. The Type I, in overdyed black, was the first jacket I bought from you all. It was my favorite. Love this jacket, too. Pictures soon to follow…

                I asked my wife to take this picture. She said, "Don't you already own this jacket?" I replied, sheepishly, "no." If anyone asks, I have owned this jacket for years.  😉

                        Yes, sir. A place down here called "Matters of Space" sells his prints. We got the last two.  😉

                                  The shrink-test specimen looks like it didn't take too kindly to machine-washing. 😶 Why might that be, in this particular case?

                                      The fabric is unwashed and only lightly sanforised so shrinkage was expected. The advice with this is to treat as raw.

                                        Yes but I was alluding to some pretty evident marbling in the post-wash photos.

                                          I am not sure that a machine wash is needed for this sort of jacket. Machine washing is of course more likely to cause this sort of marking, and we have to try to maximise shrinkage to give you the top end of the shrinkage spectrum without boiling the clothing.
