For what it's worth my current favorite burger chain is The Shake Shack.Burgers and shakes are great, fries not so much. Also didn't understand the hoopla over the InOut burger.

In and Out is good, maybe overrated as some have stated.  The two by me are always packed and always a line at the drive through.  Same with Dutch Bros, that place is ridiculous.  It looks like a high school kegger every time I drive by one.

What do you guys think of Chick-Fil-A? I've only been there once and it was pretty decent. What amazed me more than the food was the customer service. I've never been to a restaurant where the employees were that courteous to customers. I use the term restaurant loosely as they're more of a fast food chain like KFC.

Chik-fil-a is damn good. And yeah, the excellent customer service is their thing.  Seems like every one I've even been in is almost ridiculously overstaffed so that they can always have someone available to assist any customer quickly.

You're entitled to your foolish opinion.  That doesn't change the fact that In n Out is overrated.  I'd rather go to, let's see, right off the top of my head- Cookout, Shake Shack, Whataburger, Freddy's, Culver's, hell, even White Castle.

The only solution is for you to come back to America, so that we can go on a cross country burger binge and argue the relative merits of each place in person.

                        Mmmmmmm…......Culver’s

I can take or leave In-n-out. I've eaten there probably 20 times or so, over half of which the burger was almost raw. The fries are only good if they aren't busy and come hot out of the fryer. I think 5 Guys has outstanding hamburgers for a chain.  But it's weird because I think the best burger I've eaten in a while was at Applebee's. Plus Applebee's serves beer so that automatically beats any fast food restaurant.

I can agree Whataburger and Culver's are really good too. But I think 5 Guy's is a lot better and their toppings selection is awesome. Their fries are amazing too. But they need something else as a condiment besides ketchup.

Arby's is my favorite fast food restaurant ever. Smokehouse Brisket up in this mofo.

I'll have to check them out. The Wahlbergs are my heroes. Heh

There's a place in Pittsburgh, in Lawrenceville, called Burg'ers next to my friends tattoo removal business that has awesome beer and burgers. But, they are pretentiously expensive. I'm probably too white trash to eat there. But I like having a few beers after I get laser removal.

Around here, as burger joints go, they are in the tier just above McDs/Burger King/Wendy's, and the like. Don't get me wrong, for the sake of convenience, I will eat there before the aforementioned garbage vendors. But, there are dozens of burger joints around the Milwaukee area I would go to first.

I had a shake once from Culver’s and it was very runny. It wasn’t one of their concrete mixers but still, it was pretty awful as far as shakes go

For years in the seventies that was my hangout bar. Next time you come to NYC,we're going.

My daughter and I go for the concrete mixers about once a month. They're a pretty good treat. The frozen custard by itself is average, though. That's another thing I could name at least a dozen other places I would go to first. The custard choices around here are phenomenal.
