IH-777S-142 - 14oz Selvedge Denim Super Slim Tapered Jeans - Indigo

Ok, some quick answers for stuff that has come up (since I have out about 4 months on my Pair)
1. The 142 is much softer than the OG 14oz. It’s also smoother to the hand, and seems to fade more “bright” blue than the OG
2. There is a decent amount of inherent stretch to the fabric, making it quite mobile without losing a lot of shape between wears (the 18oz vintage stretches and dosnt stretch back, where I feel the 142 has stretched but still retains its shape very well)
3. The denim is very robust for 14oz - feels more like 16-18oz from other companies, but overall is light to wear.
4. Fades were slow for about 40 wears then really took off. Here are some stretch numbers after roughly 20 wears:

I’ll get some new shots ASAP once the light comes out.
Overall, these are my favorite jeans. Ever.

Will this denim be released in the 888 cut?
-
I would add a second request for the 888. Really beautiful stuff.

Anyone nab these? I’m thinking about springing for a pair since it’s high time I own some IH denim

These are on my radar for sure. I sold my 666S-14’s because they were too big, I’m thinking about replacing them with these. I love the 666 cut, but I do have one pair of 777’s and it’s a nice alternative cut to the 666.

Got these as my first IH jeans over at RH 2 weeks ago. Perfect fit for me as I want that modern fit of lower-rise and fitted leg to highlight my sneaker game. 14oz feels pretty good to me out here in Cali.
Cheers
