Nice! I’m looking to do the same to a Stetson sixpence I have. To pin on the top has come out and a GA snap would make a great replacement. Good work @jay-cy

I initially thought do do the exact thing on my Stetson corduroy sixpence. However, I would have had to struggle with the lining because it covers the inner counterpart of the button.
Anyway, I more often wear my logger cap so it’s ok this way.

Same issue here. I just cut a 12mm hole in the lining, removed the counterpart and sewed it up again. No issues with comfort and it is barely noticeable to the eye. Obviously entirely hidden when the cap is on head.

I’ve got a somewhat off topic but related question— how do you store your Good Art stuff?  I’ve not found a jewelry box or tray that I really like. But am gathering a few different pieces now and need to come up with a classy case or storage system.

We use fishing tackle boxes…..
