It seems that Fedex is apparently not the way to go when shipping internationally.  Not only did they give both @hajduk and myself a hard time, I just received the bill: from NYC to Oslo $87.76 USD. Yikes! Next time I think I'll just go with UPS…

USPS also gives pretty solid rates and instant tracking info. It was like $60 from USA to Ireland when I did the 888S tour
