Excellent.  Looks like the chest sizing isn't as tight as many recent ones.

Excuse my ignorance, but what does "chambray" mean in terms of feel?  How would it differ to say the 33s?

Chambray is a more consistent weave, so it will have a smoother touch, be more pliable, and more quickly form to its wearer than a traditional denim shirt would.

No problem!  The XHC (extra heavy chambray) is one of the best fabrics ever. It’s stiff yet silky, smooth but full of character, and drapes so nicely.

I think most importantly chambray is a plain weave, as in one warp goes over one weft. Twill or denim is not, and a differen numer of warp go over a single weft ( and vice versa). A plain weave will look the same on both sides if the warp and weft are different colors. A twill will have more of one color on one side and the opposite on the other. @wdw

@Sam , kinda surprised you've gone for a Large, as I thought you were more a Medium, especially when the Large is quite roomy on this one.  Would you say it's a roomy fit on you?  Was the M just too small?

Would Giles go XL on this?  I'm normally his size, but feel that L would be right in this case.

I did try a medium as i found the large a little long in the body and a touch roomy but the medium was too short in the arms and tight on the shoulders. If i were to buy one i'd take the large.

Giles isn't here at the moment to try it on so i can't tell you what he'd where. He might be ok with the large in the white but an XL in the indigo version.
