IH-526-ODG - Whipcord Modified Type III - Olive Drab Green

We could use any other corduroy colour we wanted.
This is my position. The grey N1 sold the worse of any colour N1 we have released thus far, so I have some pretty negative personal feelings about doing a grey.
I do really love the whipcord type III concept and the ODG have sold fabulously well, so I am up for another release, just can't think of the ideal whipcord/corduroy colour combo….

I'd still like to buy the ODG, but the chest width was too narrow and the next size up too long. If there's a rerun, could the sizes be tweaked to widen the chest a little? Only 0.5" or so. That would make them more in line with other Type 3s, other than the ODs.

Khaki whipcord, brown collar. I know it may sound repetitive but it’s a classic color combo imo

@Steffen black cord is the obvious choice I agree, but I found it a little dull too.
@Giles would it have to be the same grey colour? I wonder if the version used on the N1 and the pants was a little light and silvery. A more gunmetal grey may do better.

Also, what color options are available in whipcord and corduroy? I suppose the color combos would be pretty varied and it might not always work to repeat colors or do colors like grey just to be different, but I’m of the simpler is better camp

I kinda like the idea of an indigo dyed whipcord (or even navy) with a contrasting beige or khaki collar. But this might crock like a mofo. Or look strange to the eyes. I like it in theory [emoji16]

Your khaki x brown suggestion would be, too. (Also pretty close to the current version.)
@Giles I was also thinking about navy + brown, but navy whipcord collects lint like it was designed to, and I already have too much navy outerwear. (I also dig the current version but likewise own too many olive things and am already anticipating the upcoming pale olive N-1 and/or M65, so I'm just spitballing ideas so I can justify getting one of these.)

Yes. I like the idea of a murdered out whipcord type 3, but having the IHxSE overdyed type 3 already means I likely wouldn’t buy it. The khaki or navy variants would get my vote [emoji1303] I also think IH would do well to stick with traditional colors versus trying to use something different for the sake of being different.
