I have to say I’ve seen lots and lots of fit pics from you over the years,and those,absolutely, fit you as good or better than anything you’ve posted. That cut works so good for you. Dont know how you’re going to pass up the XHSib in those.

That’s very nice of you to say. I really like the way the way both these and my UHR version are cut, but I have serious stretch anxiety about the 21oz OD.

Despite being tight in the waist and snug in the thigh after two days wear they have already relaxed a helluva lot. It always takes me by surprise how quickly the 21oz stretches. If they stay where they are now I’ll be ok but if they stretch more I’ll have to flip them and size down again [emoji53]

With regards to the XHSib, I chose the OD over them as my options in black were limited so I could justify it. Otherwise I just have too many pairs at the moment. And too many other things I want [emoji1] It’ll be hard seeing them go though.

I find that I ,inevitably, wash my 21 OZ denim more because over time they stretch to the point that they don’t look as good as they can. The end result,for me,is a much more vintage fade,which I like.

Got these two days ago, finally got to wear them all day yesterday.  What an amazing fit!  But dang, these stretch so quickly!

pre-wear measurements:

• waist:  31.5"
• thigh:  12.25"

post-wear (10 hours) measurements:

• waist:  32"
• thigh:  12.75"

Wore them to work today.  Will measure them at the end of the day to see if they've stretched out anymore.  Still, lovely denim, don't get me wrong.  Just letting y'all know so you can size right.

@neph93  How are your 888s-ODs holding up?  Have they stretched too much?

Mine seem to have stopped at about 12.8" in the thigh and 32" in the waist.

I haven’t worn them this week but they’re likely coming out tomorrow. I’ll let you know, but I suspect they’re keepers as I think the waist will not stretch anymore.

Everyone's inseam is going to be a little different even if they're the same height but I settled on 30.5".  I took Neph's advice and measured an inseam that was about 0.5" off the ground when barefoot.

Post a pic once yours arrive.  You're going to love them!

It was a tough gamble since this is my first pair of Iron Hearts at the worst maybe I'll single cuff. Since these are 21 oz I probably won't be wearing them in the Spring/Summer with sneakers too much anyways.

I'll post a pic or two soon to see what you think.
