Some evo shots of the most comfy pair of jeans I own. I’ve had them for about 8 months now. Looking pretty solid so far.

Mine so far at about 5 months. Definitely my favorite cut, as I have some tree trunk thighs.

Really want to get a pair of these but already have the 634S-B so tough to justify another 21oz OD pair.

What I would REALLY love is a an 888 cut in the new 14oz v2 OD denim - I'd be all over that!

New pair. Actually my first OD jeans. Very happy indeed with the fabric. Despite having the IH-526j-is they have an unexpectedly even, smooth hand. I love it.

This was first day of wear, I’m on day two now and the 21oz stretch has set in. I think sizing down further would have been risky though. Very much looking forward to seeing how this goes.

Thinking I need some OD back in my life. It’s either these sized down or TTS 777 and thinking the rise in these may be more welcomed at this point…

Cheers fellas. These are W34 with a starting waist of 33.5”. My 888-UHR are 34.6” stretched out and fit very well. If I’d gone down to a W33 I’d have started with 32.9” waist and that may have been pushing it a little.

I actually JUST ordered a pair 5 mins before you posted. Went with a 32 with 31.5 waist and  12.25 thigh. Will need a little stretching but it'll work!

I'm trying to figure out my perfect hem length. For the longest, I was ordering them far too long at 34" inseam while I'm only 5'10". I finally got them hemmed to 32", which looks much cleaner but now I'm wondering if I should drop to 31". It can look a little too bunched up at the bottom with sneakers.

Is your inseam length just long enough so that the jeans touch the ground when barefoot, Reuben?  Your inseam looks spot-on!

                              Blanket-line all the things!!!

Literally just checked for you and standing straight in socks it’s been in between .5” and 1” of the floor. Bear in mind that honeycombs have already formed (because of 21oz is crunchy af).

I found out from my UHR iteration that I needed to go to my shortest inseam on the 888 because despite the small hem the combo of the fuller leg and taper meant stacking fekked up the silhouette. That was me though. I have quite a short inseam for my height (I’m 6’ and these are hemmed to 31.5”), and I really need the taper to do it’s job, which it doesn’t if the hem stacks up.

I’ll add that I wear pretty much only boots nowadays.

Thanks for checking!  Yeah, the stacks can ruin the taper but I find that if the inseam is too short, it can look great with boots but maybe silly with sneakers, like the jeans are hovering over them.

I'm also thinking that these OD ones are going to bleed on sneakers so I will have to cuff for a bit.  Dunno.  Definitely gotta think about this.

I’ll see if I can get the considerably better half to take a pic with my Sambas on later. WRT bleeding, it it’s white sneakers we’re talking then maybe but I don’t thank the od bleeds like indigo denim does.

As soon as I get home, I'm going to take a better look at my 888s, see how much I'd need to shorten the inseam to keep the silhouette clean.

The sneakers are 6 year old beaters so excuse the state of them… also excuse the crayon on the walls. Three year olds will do you like that.
