I got totally wasted by a large fish yesterday.  My 200lb breaking strain leader parted at the knot next to the lure when I was having to give it maximum pressure to stop it reefing me.  I ended up hitting the deck with some force (and it has to be said, not a lot of style).  I was damaged in a couple of places.  The local solution to the misplaced muscles…..

I do not crimp for this type of fishing.
I don't use Yo-Zuri for this type of fishing, though do I use their disappearing pink fluorocarbon for constructing salt water fly leaders….

I think it helped.  But I took some pain relief and also a knee brace, so not sure what actually did most help
