IHM-20 - Overdyed 14oz Indigo Denim M65
-
Thank you for the picture with hands-in-warmer pockets @gaseousclay . It looks good on you and I thought both your pictures are fine. You have removed all doubts I had about this great jacket.
No problem. The jacket is pretty warm. It was 42 degrees out yesterday and it felt cozy. As mentioned before, this jacket is perfect for 40/50 degree weather. I get warm easily so the M65 will make a great Spring/Fall jacket.

Nice… it should mold nicely... i can't believe how soft the denim is, i wonder if IH will use this denim for their jeans.
@redgreen:
Nice fit Gas, are you able to move around? today I wore mine with a hoody, didn't feel any restrictions…so far so good! Should make a good light jacket.
@redgreen
Yeah I can move around. I think the more I wear it the more it'll loosen up but i'm pretty happy with the fit

I'd ask @Giles. IHUK does sell the 777-14 od, but i'm not sure if it's the same denim as the M65

Yep, awesome jacket. I was never into M65's before, until I saw this. I kept looking at the pics and became obsessed with it. So glad I grabbed one. Can't wait til it warms up a little so I can put some mileage on mine

Received yesterday and between this and the 22 idk. Chronic. IH is straight killing it. Lg worked out perfect for my 6' 170 frame; XL in most shirts including UHFs. The collar is perhaps my favorite element. It just effortlessly falls where you want it to.

Agreed jdub, the collar is perfect–pop it if you want or lay it down with ease!
And the hardware looks so great after the OD bath. Great jacket scores!
And x3 for the rocket man!

Nice score. How big is your chest btw? Just curious since we're similar in height/weight but you opted for a large. I wear large uhfs but went medium.
Either way, enjoy it.

M65 shown with the 18oz 633S-OD–the jacket does show a bluer shade @manufc10. I'll get a layflat up before long to better highlight the differences side by side.

Looks killer @Dishelveled . yeah I can see the differences in the shades already in those two pics, still looks great though.
What shirt is that btw (red one)? Also you're making me second guess what size I should get now if you sized down in yours from your IH shirt size yet you can still layer two shirts underneath. 633 OD's are awesome as well
-
If I layer with a sweatshirt or lightweight flannel the jacket is kinda tight on me. The m65 is heavy and can be worn with a henley or tee and fit perfectly. Again, i'd say if you're planning on layering then you might be better off with your usual size. I also sized down for a better fit on sleeve and body length as well. @dishelveled and I are close in ht/wt but i'm guessing his chest measurement is smaller than me.

^^^Thanks, brother! Those shoulder gussets are your friend–not sure sizing down is your play, but they'll help if you do.
The shirt is a blanklet lined flannel from Corridor NYC--which is now produced in Philly, with shirting production moving to Hondorus (wtf?)--guess its time for a name change, haha!
Scored it from shop canoe club (original tag for $225) for $69! Corridornyc.com is running their end of season sale with extra 20% off, which brings this one to $118ish, seriously don't know how CanoeClub sells so cheap and still maitains good relations with vendors?!!?

My chest is 41". No question in sizing down for me. Same with the 22. My arms are on the longer side and these both are plenty long in the lg. Shoulders are perfect too. Pleasantly surprised with thermal properties as well working nicely with a thermal/tshirt layered in 38 degree crud. Jacket was already privy to Portugal The Man last night in Louisville. Amazing.
