I just read Mike, owner of shipjohn, was robbed and assaulted with a hatchet while walking to his car after an event at his shop.

They fractured his skull, but he’s alive and recovering.

So sad to hear about the attack. Haven’t met Mike but emailed back and forth a few times. He hooked me up with a new grommet for my Gibson wallet. Seems like a good guy and didn’t deserve any of this BS. Visit the go fund me page if you can.

I don't follow Ship John but hope he makes a full recovery. I also hope they catch whoever it is that did this to him. Beyond messed up.
