@catdad that's the most laid back obituary sound I've heard. Saw them live recently and they sounded nothing like this. They pretty much sound the same as they did in 94 but this song is way different.

Area 51 were a really fun Seattle HC band. Eventually they turned into Death Wish Kids which I liked even more (fuckin GREAT shows). After they split the members all went onto bands I never really cared for like Pretty Girls Make Graves, Modest Mouse, Murder City Devils, etc.
Anyway, check em out. I was at this show by the way. -

I remember not too long ago when Mike and I really got to talking about music. It was unusual and exciting for me to find a punk rock oriented denim head. He asked me to start a metal/punk rock music thread, so he wouldn't be seen as the dude who was too upfront about it. I fucking remember that shit like it was yesterday, shooting the shit and sharing music like we would do it for weekends to come, years really.
It's crazy how shit changes and it continually reminds me that when a loved one dies. The universe does not give a shit about you. God is a cunt that files their nails without batting an eye while we live, love and die.
