      Thanks @Twistlock

@Jcaz6996 Im done James  😃 well for a long while.  I will hopefully do the Great South Run next year (10 miles) and then anything under half marathon will be fair game.  But never, ever over that distance haha - im in worse pain today than yesterday.  Cycled into work which eased over time but was very interesting getting on and off the bike!

@Nik I need to get back into some form of running. 3.15 will be a great time! Good luck with the training and I am sure I will see you out and about pounding the pavement!

@Dmart good luck with the half, hope the training goes well 💪

Thanks @AdamC so far it goes well. No injuries or anything. But still a bit too far away from 90minutes, but hopefully getting there. Am at 60miles/week now.

60 miles a week is extremely good going! I didnt even get there training for the London marathon last year. Granted I did not train hard enough and didnt cover myself in glory - injuries and illness hampered training massively. Sounds as though you are putting in the work and here's hoping for an injury free rest of training!

Thanks mate! It goes well so far, easy week this week and back on next week with some speed work and threshold on the track.

Those are some seriously impressive finish times you guys are aiming for. I’m currently ramping up my miles for Brighton marathon, also on the 2nd April. My training is going okay, but between work and 3 kids I’m finding it hard to get out more than 4 days a week.

I’m aiming for a sub-4 hour. Will be ecstatic if I can do it 3:45. Managed a 1:40 half marathon a couple weeks ago, and my pace at longer distances (currently up to 19 miles) is pretty consistent.

Wishing everyone a fun, injury free couple of months!

Congrats, great effort. Just finished my long run ending in 4:15min/km race pace.
Had the OG Alphaflys today. Prefer them over the 2‘s.

@Dmart sounds like you're well on track to hit your sub 1:30 goal if you're running long runs that fast already. You feeling positive?

Well I did only the last 4K in race pace. I am confident about a PR which would be sub 1:40. on a good day and I I get the fuelling right (which I practice currently) I believe I can. Still have 5 weeks of training, although the last 10 days will be taper.

Cool. Finishing long runs at race pace is a great thing to do if it doesn't cause injury.
What's your fuelling strategy? I've had to practice these things quite a bit for 100k and half ironman, and will need to devise a whole new strategy for the full ironman I'll do in 30 degree heat this summer.
