Does anyone have experience hemming these to a shorter length?  Thinking an 8" inseam versus 10" in my respective waist size.  Main concern is the pocket bags being too deep and therefore poking out below the hem.  Any intel would be appreciated.

Which waist would you be looking at? I have a size 36 and could turn them inside out and give you some measurements.

Hey @Bums_Fan did you ever end up hemming? I dropped into Berkeley Supply in Denver yesterday. My lady bought me an early B day gift of an IH zipped hoody. Thing is bad ass btw.

Got to talking to Eli there about a wedding on the beach we’re going to and how I’m in need of some khaki shorts but not being able to find any nice ones. He’s like, well, I have this old box over here in the corner from before they moved to the new shop…”think there is some shorts in there…”
Boom!!!! Pulls out 4 pairs of these IH khakis!! What!!!?? I’ve been on the hunt for a couple months and just happened to drop in there by chance. Best part is he gave them to me for $100!! That shop is amazing and Eli is an incredible dude!

Long story short, I want to hem these too haha

@Mizmazzle short story, I have not. Longer story, I was asking previously in anticipation of purchasing these when they restock later this spring. Based on the pictures @tody shared, I will definitely feel comfortable hemming them to a short length. I am thinking 7-8" inseam on waist size 36. Hope this helps.

@Bums_Fan I happen to know Berkeley has a pair in size 36. They aren’t listed on the website or even out on display. Just crammed into a box of odds and ends.

@Bums_Fan heres the finished product. Really happy with how they turned out. Never mind the pasty legs. They’ve been buried under some 25oz denim for the last 8 months…

First photo has one leg pre hem the other folded to where I wanted to hem. Second pic is post hem.

Yeah. They look a bit shorter IRL than that second photo shows I think. The angle makes em look a bit longer.
