@Mizmazzle I bought it with zero expectations as I've never owned any 19oz LHT/OD Iron Heart garments, but after 5 days I can safely say I've never had a more comfortable or betting fitting jacket. The velvet-esque feel of it is my favourite thing though, and is only getting nicer by the day.

@Lowlander It's not something I'd do obsessively, but at the moment it's rather cold here in the UK and as of late, heating our homes has becoming stupidly expensive.
Figured that by sleeping in this jacket I could save a little money on heating, soften it up, and potentially kick start some fades, so it seemed like a good idea!
I certainly won't be doing it when winter is over though, that's for the true devotees and denim Magi like @Oaktavia
I'm also single, so there's no one here to judge my idiosyncratic behaviour.

I would try but my bed partner won't let me.
I sleep only in my IH shirts. I've tried wearing bottoms to bed like Mike but I get too hot and the feeling is too restricted for me. I don't think I would want to wear a jacket either, so kudos to @T4920 for doing that. I can wear work/westen/CPOs just fine so I stick with those. I sleep in them because I just love the feel of them and it feels fun to completely maximize the wear with them. My 295bb was so tough and stiff at first, I didn't want to stop wearing it before bed. Plus my wife understands my obsessive personality and had gotten used to it
.Even with my neurotic-ass self tossing and turning all night, I do not think the fades accumulate to much if anything at night. But part of me thinks my wabby CPO that I've been wearing nightly since late December would look different had I only wore it during waking hours. So maybe it does do some nightly indigo shedding. Our sheets are already blue/green so no noticeable crocking. Likely would be different with a new indigo top and white sheets.
Also if I die in my sleep, at least my ghost will have an IH western or CPO to float around in, paired with my drawers.
