Any towing shit breaks at some point, when mine fails, I'd rather have Dyneema bouncing off the Gelcoat and/or my family than steel….

Use the most abrasion-resistant IH denim you can get your hands on.
Or it is time to convince H. to make a kevlar interwoven denim for motorcyclists and boat owners  8).
