I think it looks good. It will definitely relax with consistent wear and soften up considerably. The 21oz gets comfy very quickly. Just wear it as much as you can!

Hi all - looking for a quick fit check. My understanding is that these being sanforized and unwashed, no shrinkage is to be expected and around .5”-1” stretching in certain areas, is that correct? Also, does that mean I can get them hemmed without washing prior?
Here’s a few pics. Seem good but I also tore my hamstring recently so I’m unable to sit or really move around to see how they feel in much more than a standing position. They’re a tad tight in the top box as they currently sit, but if I can expect a .5” of stretch once worn in, I think they’ll be perfect.
Pardon the sloppy cuffs, just rolled them up to make easier to get on/off.

To your question if you can hem them before washing them the asnwer is yes. Shrinkage will be negligible if any. You dont need to soak them or wash them prior to wear. Obviously your choice. And yes they will stetch in inch or maybe more in the waist and probably 0.3 to 0.5 in the thigh under stress. Its hard for me to tell how tight they are. The leg looks ok not sure about the top block. If you feel.you need more.than an inch to feel comfortable then definitely size one up.

I measured them against my very well worn 777-XHS denim and they were identical except the waist was .5” small and rear rise about .4” longer on the new pair. My xhs are a tad tight (but I wear them near daily) so assuming I can get around .3” or so in the top box/thighs, they will be perfection. If not, should still fit great once broken in. I think the measurements (on paper) of going to the next size up will be a bit more than I’m looking for.

Had the pants hemmed, and now have a weeks wear. Overall the fit is great. I had them hemmed a tad long but should allow for some good stacking.
The 21oz vs my 25oz seem 100x cooler in this Texas summer. I wore my 25oz for basically the last year straight so these are a welcomed relief.
Since I tore my hamstring, I still can’t tie shoes. I busted out these Red Wing Heritage shoes I bought almost 3 years ago and had never worn.. I’m able to slip them on and I’ve taken a solid liking to them!

Thanks for your advice, @Daniel San - highly appreciated. Honestly speaking my new winter project is already "in stack": the BS69xSOP420. I usually only have one denim in the heavy rotation.
Others are buying denims twice a month - but from my point of view that's not the philosophy of wearing (high quality) denims where fades and strong evolution are desired. I fully concentrate on one pair for at least half a year (and more). So if the 777S-21ib is not in stock after my BS69xSOP420 is worn for at least 6-12 months: bad luck.
