If you don’t mind me asking, how did you change your button on the left flap?

Of course I don’t mind. Sharing info on the good stuff is why we’re here [emoji3526]

The button hasn’t been changed. It is a Good Art Boutonnière. They clip on to buttonholes as a faux button.

      Good luck with Y3

Been rockin the 22OD since beginning of March, and i must say it’s a beast of a jacket! Can’t wait to evolve this piece in the long run.

Here’s my previous jacket that I’m going to be semi-retiring: https://imgur.com/a/rYNctl5/

I picked up a GH large rosette boutonniere from a member here and had a question for those that run boutonnieres. Wondering if it’s suppose to be off center? See pics below; the boutonniere does not fit over the button exactly. Am i suppose to bend it, or does one have to secure it with thread?

They aren't intended to be used like that. They're designed to be put in the empty buttonhole. Great jacket!

Ahhhhh, that makes more sense duh! In that case, it fits beautifully with the jacket. Waiting for some King Crimson pins to switch it up, but otherwise I’m ready to rock this bulletproof jacket

Not much wear as it’s been quite warm. Tried wearing as much possible when temps are cool. Arm honeycombs setting in nicely, finalized on pins placement!

You would have expected to see some indigo colours peeking through here? Or is that not to be expected on this fabric? I also think, or at least it seems to be that way that the indigo is hard to capture on the artificial eye of a camera on an OD garment?

@Daniel-0 22 is harsh at first and will get soft with wear, not as soft as a 21oz jacket but softer then the 19oz lefty in my experience. I once had a 22 and sold it cause i totally dig my 19oz lefty! But that 22 jacket was cool on it’s own!

Gotcha, my brother told me his 19oz lefty was brutal, currently own the OD western and it’s also pretty stiff, I guess I just gotta wear it in.

22 gets very soft, while remaining heavy of course. It drapes very nicely once broken in, which doesn't take too long. Seems to be one of those OD denims that fade to grey rather than revealing indigo - I've never got around to asking on here why some do the former while others (18oz vintage denim of the 293 CPO for example) do the latter.

Well once the deciscion was made in my head I found it quite an accomplishment for me to postpone the purchase overnight considering that it was the last piece, but I had sent a question asked to IH regarding measurement of this specific piece and as the answer rolled in my e-mail box the last bit of restraint to buy this jacket suddenly disappeared and the point of nu return was long gone lol. I really lived by what is put underneath each of my messages lol.... 😉
