Set up in the office today and tested it today with @Alex .

I cant remember exactly the download speeds we were getting, but it was at least 4x what we were getting out of the same SIM in a phone. And that was on the bog-standard antennae that come with it, we have a 4x4 MIMO external antennae, that should give us greater connectivity and longer range….

First day.

Lots of safety and getting to know our boat stuff.  Got out for a couple of hours and did slow-speed manoeuvres.

Note to self.  Avoid reversing in Pilgrim as much as poss.  It's like pushing cooked noodles uphill from the downward end

2 days in, and we are fucked….He's pumping in 10 hour days and making us really work.....

But we are learning an amazing amount.

He got us to plan a longish passage today, then took the charts off us, turned the plotter off, and made us do it from our course notes....

The looking-through-the-windscreen device was deployed again.....
