These are currently at 48 wears, with a hot pre-soak and a hand-wash about five wears ago. Purchased these in late February and they've been in a roation with my 777-21 and -21od since then. It's been unusually cool this spring, so these have gotten more spring wear than I had anticipated. (The current weather forecast is predicting at least a few more wears before I put them away until October.) Really happy with these. Still a little stiff below the knee, but they've broken in nicely otherwise.

Figured since I just turned my tub blue while Morgan is sleeping soaking my xhs vest, it was finally time after a year to give the ol XHSib a wash, had some merz soap sitting around which I've found to be pretty gentle so I went with two caps in my tub of that

XHSib really goes hard with the electric blues.  Love that stage of fading.  Looks like you're well on your way!

Just gave mine a second wash and am excited to get back to them in another 3-4 months.

I would, yes.  You can give them a large amount of aggravation without the risk of getting marbling and/or white streaks….
