The whole thing was like a small surgery, cost me numerous expressions of bad language, but in the end it worked. Can’t see anything anymore from the outside.
I even managed to tie a tiny little knot on the other side so it won’t come out again.

I received mine today, and they feel slightly larger than I'd like. Think I could get some shrinkage with a 60C wash? I can't size down either, sadly, because I'm already a size small.

@Peter I don't have these and am just throwing this out there…Would you be able to tack the waistband?  It looks like it would be fairly easy to do and hide (due to the type of waistband currently) or is it the overall fit?

I'm sure someone will come up with some great ideas.

I‘ll put my in the washer this week so I can let you know if there is any shrinkage. I could use some as well.

I washed mine at 40deg on 800rpm and didn’t get any shrinkage, in case that helps.

Wearing them today, actually.
I’m a true 90cm waist with rather large thighs and the L is a snug fit for me, without being too tight.

They look great Emil. I’m a 87cm waist and size L is borderline too large for me. I like the legs and everything but the waist in a size M would definitely be better for me. The Khaki ones will be M.

Another day, another wear. 
Returned my size L and happy with M. They’ve loosened up quite a bit too. For reference, my ih denim typically has a waist measurement of 33-34”

Decided to keep them, and gave them a 60C wash and 30 minutes in the dryer. They feel basically the same - just a little shorter in the inseam. They're definitely wearable, but a still a bit too big. I love that these are very easy wearing, relaxed and at the same time the pockets are fully functional and the fabric substantial enough. The back pockets easily hold your phone.

IH never made shorts for skinny dudes, so it was a bit of a gamble. Seeing as they're very popular, hoping that will change for SS23
