Hey so, I was just wondering. Do these dye off on everything at first before they've been washed a bit? or is that just the OD indigo / the black ones?

They looks so good in all the pictures you guys have been posting here! but I don't think people here would be very happy if I left dye everywhere

Indigo transfers much more than the OD, and indigo/black. But that is the case for all proper denim. It is only a worry on white or cream fabrics/surfaces.

@neph93  Hey, how would you say the 666 compares to Levi's 501? I looked at the measurments and these in size 34 would be about the same as my levi's. I'm just worried that the top block might not be the same.

There are loads of different versions of the 501, you would need to say which version of 501 you are talking about.

In general, I would say the 666 is overall slimmer than a pair of 501. I believe the 634 cut is closer to a 501 than a 666. There are too many 501 versions as Giles mentioned.
If you have a specific pair of 501, measure it the IH way and compare.

The 634 cut is loosely based on the 1966 501….

Agreed with all the above @K I’m not super into the American OG denim brands but the 666 has always struck me as a Wrangler-esque, while the 634 has much more Levi’s in its DNA. But that really is just subjective associations.

I tried to find which levi 501's I have but it just says "501 ORIGINAL FIT - Jeans straight leg" with buttons and that it's "wide". Also, I compared the measurments and the IH-666s-142 seems to be the same as my 501's. The raise is sbout 1 cm +- give or take.

could be '93 model. dont have them anymore, but based on the memory it was similar to 666.
btw, i find 666 to be a brilliant design, just fascinating how well they fit me (together with 2014SC)

Perceived comfort of a fit is an interesting thing.  If I have been wearing 634 for a while and then pop on a pair of 666, I immediately notice the lower rise and it irritates me for about 10 minutes, then I get completely used to it…..

I fallen totally in love with the 634 now after almost hating on it for seven years. I adore the 666 but it is very iteration dependant on me, because thighs.
