Just out of curiosity: why are the UHFs (e.g. the recently released green black one) less in price than the 9oz flannels? I assume construction is the same.
Irrespective of price, who wearable are the 9oz shirts in warmer climates?

The 9oz is woven on shuttle looms, which are more costly and less efficient to run than modern projectile looms, but they create fabric of unique character, @Alexander

Rope dyed indigo yarns probably has an impact on cost too.

@tody we don't have a IHSH-277-IND in stock to do a fresh side-by-side image but here is a macro shot which shows the difference nicely

Hmm good comparison, the lighter colours pop a bit more on the 317 than on the 277. I assumed the 317 was more or less the exact same shirt, but there’s clearly a difference.

Oh buddy!!! What a beauty!! I’m going to hold tight and wait on the western. Hoping those come in soon! The sizing on the work shirt in Large seems a bit smaller. Almost like that of a western cut. Has me wondering what the sizing will look like on this shirt in the western…wondering if my normal size L will need to be an XL. Guess I’ll have to wait and see!!

Hell yea!! My tattoo fund has taken a serious hit due to increased allocations towards records, boots, and clothes….I'm sure my lucrative teaching career will take off any day and the millions I need to fund my fishing and tattoo addictions will catch up soon!!

I hear you - all the best hobbies and interests seem to cost money! I've been booked in for a full day with my tattoo guy for 8 months now so I've known March was going to be a heavy spend month for a while. It's all the stuff I didn't know I'd have to or want to spend money on this month that's getting to me… If I'd known this shirt was coming now I'd have saved a bit more! My guy has a very basic charging structure and only charges by the hour, so if he's quicker then I might have enough left over to get this shirt sooner.
