We had a wonderful day yesterday, thanks @Chap for putting up with our Pilgrim obsession during your stay and thanks @Ian72 for skippering us safely over to Cowes and back - gorgeous weather, great lunch and Giles and I grinning like Cheshire cats the entire trip

Yeah, as my eye-sight fails and I need to carry truckloads of shit (but, like not too much), I needed something that would work.  @Kurt-faith came up with the goods…..

Today, we went to collect the tender.  Next Monday we start our 5 day Day Skipper Theory course, @Madame Buttonfly took the opportunity to do some pre-course required swotting…..

The tender had to be partially deflated to get into the van, thank God I took the rear seats out of the van…..

Today, @Madame Buttonfly and I pumped up the rib, attached the outboard, started it (took me a little time until I found the fuel tap - in the end, Paula had to read the instruction manual, which as most men know, is a little bit cheaty), and took her to Pilgrim.

Here she is installed on the coach roof….

We did have a lot of fun today, after some cursing and after the "how you use the outboard motor" manual had eventually been consulted  ::)
