Got my small in both navy and olive.  Have assumed the requisite stretch…

Correct assumption. It is the same fabric. The slight difference is that the henleys have a little more room in the shoulders and chest du to the opening at the neck, but it is negligible.

Correct AJ. I ordered L in this and the OLV. I have the GRY, WHT and BLK in M from when I was 6kg lighter but they are not as flattering now [emoji23]

Hi @neph93, how do these guys handle up to a dryer?  I did see on the product page that they're one-washed so minimal or no shrinkage is to be expected but can the fabric really hold up to dryer or do you lay flat to be safe?

                      Thanks in advance man…

@Joe_M Are you looking for shrinkage? If so you’re out of luck I’m afraid. They may come out of the dryer smaller but will stretch super quickly.

If you’re just wondering whether they will tolerate a dryer, they will.

Hi, @neph93, nope definitely don't want shrinkage.  The size large thermal crew necks that I purchased fit me perfectly.  They're fantastic thermals from the fabric to the cut to the construction.  I just wasn't sure how well the loose stretchy cotton would hold up in a dryer or if it was best to lay flat to dry.  I've already washed one of them and errored on the side of caution laying it flat to dry, but it's good to know that they can handle a dryer.  Thanks for the info.

I never use a dryer on my IH stuff unless I’m looking for shrinkage, but I do remember testing it in these a number of years ago.

Yeah same here. First time I did it the thermal tightened up a little more than I was used to getting with just a wash and hang, which worried me! Luckily it stretched back out, although I think the process was a little slower than usual.

I am a fan of IronHeart and own the #1700 model which I found to be unique for both the thickness of the fabric and the quality to the touch.

This lighter weight version however leaves me wanting for both fabric weight and overall quality related to the cost. I would put it at roughly 6 to 8oz cotton somewhat abrasive in nature. Not nearly as soft as the 1700 version. Color arrives somewhat faded.

                                          I am 5' 10"
                                          38 " chest
                                          32 waist

A large fit in the body but the sleeves were a tad long.

Is the sizing similar to the first batch of white, grey and blacks on this? My black size small from the very first run fits well, but this doesn't have measurements for a the same size. Have the sizing changed much throughout the years? Looking to pick up the navy one, and possibly another colour 🙂
