IH-555S-142OD - 14oz Selvedge Denim Slim Jeans - Overdyed Indigo

Maiden voyage for these today. I wore them to the office, with some old White’s Semi-Dress boots. This is my first attempt at the 555 cut and I love the fit so far. Also my first pair of over-dyed denim, so I am excited to see the fading patterns over time. Initially, the feel and color strike me as similar to my black Stevenson 727s. I will try to post some better fit pics in the next couple of days.

Trying to bump this back to the front page. I’ve worn these about 10-15 days and they are definitely losing the stiffness (which was more than I expected from the 14 oz.). I really like the fabric and the fit. Last shot also shows my newly-acquired IHSW-45, which I will discuss in that thread as well.

Got a package from Gosport yesterday. These are my first pair of 14 oz jeans from IH. The color and feel of the fabric are so intriguing. The texture is smoother than 21 oz. I’ve heard I could expect less stretch from 14 oz and read that the over-dyeing removes all shrinkage, so I matched the measurements to my true waist size—the fit felt spot on from my initial impressions.

I’m planning to get some more pictures tomorrow or this weekend. Cannot wait to start wearing these!

First pair of iron heart jeans. Didn’t dare go for the 31 so I ended up with the 32. In hindsight I think the 31 would’ve been the better choice after it stretched. Live and learn I guess. Still stoked with’em. Decided to join #teamstack for these. The denim shirts are the CPO 18oz and 33od.
