    @Giles:

    5 years or so 😃 😃 😃 😃 😃

    AJ will add a bullet and a photo on the product page…..

    I did check the page when the question was asked…

    Looks like late autumn in N. Norway is good at revealing the design qualities of this gear. Looking forward to the deep midwinter.

      This cracked me up!  At least now I don’t have to worry about being crazy for asking about it. Sounds useful to me… especially because I’m leaning towards sizing up and it could come in handy. Thanks for discovering it @neph93 😁

        I've been wearing this for a couple of week now and I can say it's very comfortable. So light, so warm and a great fit. If it's getting colder I will wear a N1 vest on top. A great jacket.

          It is probably my most worn Iron Heart piece…....

          @Giles:

          hahahahaha - just found that mine has them too….

            My only issue with it is the price

            Don't think of the monetary cost, instead consider the value.

              Question for anyone. I love this jacket but the only thing stopping me from getting it is the stand up collar. Does it fold down nicely or is it made stiff to always be in the up position?

                It does. When I wear the jacket open I often fold the collar down. With wind I put it up again. No problem.

                  Thanks. Im leaning towards the xxl based on dimensions of this jacket compared to one I have. What is your height and weight if you dont mind?

                    I'm 180 cm and 84 kg, got an XL that fits well, shouldn't be smaller. Not much layering potential underneath, a tee and a shirt is fine. I'd rather layer on top, like a N1 vest. And it's so warm that you don't need to layer much underneath.

                      I have the XXL and I'm 6"3 - 185 LBS, long legs and arms and this fits amazing and not too big anywhere.
                      Collar does fold flat and in hand the quality of this jacket is obvious.

                            No apologies for the vest obscuring the jacket. This was made to be layered with imho…

                            (And yes, I know I look like Billy Corgan in this photo…  😞 😃 )

                            EDIT: One more, less Billy Corgan…

                                @neph93  looking very nice with the denim vest. I’m still trying to figure out whether to go with a medium or large. I could feasibly do the medium, but it may be a bit short. Large would definitely work but be tad roomy.  I waffle back and forth.

                                @Giles  Love that you wear it so much and find it versatile. Is that wear pattern from a watch?

                                  I take XL in UHF’s and tend towards L in most IH jackets (N-1’s, M65’s etc). I took this in XL and I’m glad I did. L would have been too small over anything other than a tee (and maybe then too short in the arm and body). I could get a UHF under the XL but I’d feel a bit stuffed.

                                    No, just my inner arm rubbing against my body, when I am fishing and casting, that happens a lot….

                                      Sorry I took it mean literally “inside” the sleeve.  Thanks Reuben, I’ll stick with the large when I finally get one.

I have to order online and would hate to have to pay all that money for return costs? Thanks in advance. I take XL in my UHF Flannels too in work shirts and XXL in Westerns and am 6 foot 195lbs.

                                          I rarely wear it without a vest so the ones a few posts up are as good as I can do. Here are a couple more in the same vein.

                                          I’m about the same height as you and a little heavier.
