IHSH-300-RED - Ultra Heavy Flannel Western Shirt - Classic Check - Red
-
I had purchased this pattern fabric in the workshirt version, from Self Edge, during one of their Black Friday sales some years ago. That was my first IH UHF and it is still one of the best, most versatile and frequently worn heavy shirts I have ever owned. Thank you Iron Heart.

If the measurements work out, this will be mine. My second UHF from IH!

Damn, had made up my mind on the western and then saw a pic of the work shirt on the IH IG story. Now I'm undecided again which to go for. :-\

I'm going to let the measurements decide which one I get…this fabric works well in both cuts.

Well, that went smoothly for a UHF purchase. Been looking forward to this one for months.

This flannel just arrived today. As much as I am a fan of my other UHFs, this one might be tops. And for one reason - the colorway is just so versatile. Tried with various pants - indigo/black/dark grey jeans, khaki and OD green duck. All winners. T-shirts underneath? Looks great with white, grey and black. Even navy works. Waffle/thermals? Yep, looks great obviously. It goes with just about everything. Love that.

This one arrived yesterday and it's a hell of a shirt. Honestly, the color in person is different than the initial photo I saw of Giles wearing but that's not a complaint. The reds have more of a rust color than I initially thought. Agree w/ @GregO, it's absolutely a versatile color way.

Along with the IHSH-302, this XS 300 got the chop and wash treatment. Idk what it is about red flannels but I can never pass one up
