I wanted to post an update and answer my own question regarding the XHS BB denim:
@Filthy:That's awesome. Do they have a soft hand or is it rough?
After wearing these for a couple wears, they definitely do have that velvety XHS hand that I love and admire so much. They feel every bit as thick and heavy as the other pairs of XHS I have owned. The denim has a very smooth hand compared to the 21oz SBG pair that I have them to compare them to. I think I wore that SBG pair about nine months or so and they are unwashed. The 21oz denim kind of has an almost corduroy feel to them and the XHS feels smoother and more dense and velvety. I love it.
I got the tagged size 36 waist to stretch from a 35.7 (soaked) to exactly a 37 (both the Self Edge laid flat method, and IH method).
I am so pleased with these jeans and am very grateful to have them!

While the black dye is easily cleaned up, it still might leave some drips when lifting the denim back out when it's done soaking. Mine certainly did..still have a couple black spots in our guest bathroom tub/floor lol.
I'll take some photos when I get home for ya.

Wait… so someone muddled through your recycling bin, opened the package, and then through them back??

Nah, they helpfully take a picture to prove it has been delivered. In DPD’s defence I have said it’s okay to put it there, the blue bin is just cardboard so pretty clean. Delivery drivers have always put stuff in there so I’ve just adopted it as a ‘safe place’. It has only gone wrong once, when the Royal Mail put a package in the bin, which had been rolled outside our house on account of it being bin day, you do the math…. Fortunately that item got replaced as Royal Mail aren’t actually allowed to do that (and it was fucking dim)

Dang man, I feel like you're playing with fire by telling the couriers that it's cool to put packages in these bins. Sounds like you already got burned once.
We live in a decent neighborhood but still get the occasional homeless guy digging through trash bins for stuff.
And the thought of having a great IH package delivered on trash day in your scenario is making me super anxious LOL
