I’m new here so don’t know you well Giles. Are you someone who says at some point to mean in the next 3 months, 1 year or 1 decade?

More than 3 months, "at some point" means too far into the future for me to predict with any accuracy.  I don't even know if we will have the leather tanned in 3 months.

Similar weight but the buck is a bzillion times softer, but anyone who touches the horse is in awe of its feel…..

Just got mine in a few days ago with custom length. Thanks to @AdamC for the thorough assistance in getting me into the correct size. As everyone has said, this leather is crazy soft. Almost like a superfine fleece or something. I love it!
